Our reteail business is expanding nationwide based on our network of GEO Shops, most of which are directly managed, and efficient product distribution.
GEO Shops provide a one-stop, multimedia outlet for various types of home entertainment media, such as DVDs, CDs, manga, and video game software.
These diverse products are offered through three channels, rentals, resales and sell-through, a three-pillar sales structure that has proven to be quite well-balanced.
We call this business model "Multi-Packaging, Multi-Supply."

New opened stores are acquired through M&A and acquisition of facilities previously owned by companies outside the industry, resulting in reducing our store opening costs.
A centralized direct-managed store system links more than 800 stores nationwide. Better control over procurement, inventories, price-setting by the Headquarters allows us to realize an efficient low cost operation.
Thus our retail staff can focus on customer service. Our management philosophy is to enhance price-competitiveness and customer satisfaction by both low cost store-opening and store-operating strategies.

"GEO Online" is a portal site of GEO Corporation filled with entertainment media information related to not only GEO Shop, but also movie, music, video game, etc.
The portal site distributes our mail magazine providing GEO Net members with very valuable information such as online rental coupons good at physical GEO Shops, sales campaign, up-to-date information on the newest video and music releases, product ranking, etc.
And furthermore, GEO Online offers online rental service providing "direct home delivery" of a variety of DVD, CD, and manga rentals through internet. We have improved customer convenience of using our service in GEO Shops and GEO Online by unifying our membership information and sharing point program.

Second Street, a group company, is operating "2nd Street" and "JUMBLE STORE" nationwide in the reuse business. 2nd Street handles a wide variety of reuse items, from fashion goods such as clothing, bags, shoes, jewelry, to home appliances, furniture, sundries, musical instruments, and hobby goods. JUMBLE STORE specializes in reuse items in the clothing/fashion line.
The reuse business is expected to grow further in the future. In addition, it is a field that GEO excels in, having grown from the sales of reuse items such as video game software, CDs, and books. We plan to expand further through joint retailing with GEO Shops, for example.
